In model investigation of ship’s fluidised bed boiler the similarity theory has been applied, which permits to transfer the investigation results from the model to the real object. For setting the non- dimensional numbers in similar phenomena, the analysis of differential equations describing the examined phenomenon or the dimensional analysis is applied.
